About the Barnt Green Cattery in Birmingham
The Barnt Green Cattery is ideally located in the Birmingham countryside (close to Bromsgrove and Redditch), which gives our rural retreat complete privacy and security as well as being well away from the noisy city traffic.
The perfect location for a cat hotel
The cattery is South facing so that in the winter months the bad weather is behind us and the summer sun brings warmth and brightness all day long to the front of the cattery, which overlooks a colourful garden and large pond.
A cattery designed with your cat's comfort in mind
Our boarding cattery has everything your cat needs to feel at home. We have large, comfy chalets with climbing frames, platforms and toys.
The centrally heated bedrooms, warm winter quarters and large exercise conservatory make it the ideal base to explore. Our cat hotel has a total of forty individual chalets all designed and built to the highest standards.
F.A.B standard chalets
All our chalets are built to F.A.B standards to accommodate at least two cats and we have twelve extra large family units for up to four cats.
Our largest chalet, called the Penthouse, can accommodate up to eight cats. All cats staying at any of our chalets have to be from the same household.
A cattery ideal for year round boarding and long stays
The chalets are fully insulated and individually heated with thermostat control, so that even in very cold weather our guests are warm as toast.
The chalets are full height and beds and bedding are off the floor on low tables. A picture window overlooks the individual, outside covered runs which have climbing frames, platforms and shelving at different heights to provide three-dimensional space to climb and perch.
